Denise Burge works in a variety of media, including drawing, film, and quiltmaking. Her quilt work has been widely commissioned and collected, and was included in two Quilt National exhibitions. For this work she has been awarded multiple Ohio Arts Council grants, residencies and the Headlands Center for the Arts and the Fine Art Work Center in Provincetown, and a Joan Mitchell Foundation award. In 2006 she formed a collaborative animation group called "The Dozens". Their work premiered at the Fringe Festival in Edinboro, Scotland, and has been in several national and international film festivals. Since then, she has been creating video installation work with Lisa Siders and Jenny Ustick under the name Maidens of the Cosmic Body Running. Recently, she has returned to quilt making and painting, and exhibits regionally and nationally. She is also currently working on a graphic novel about Lafcadio Hearn.

Jenny Roesel Ustick is an Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Cincinnati. She oversees the execution of large public murals, both in Cincinnati, Miami, New York and Buenos Aires.
Ustick's artistic practice is quite diverse, ranging from drawing and painting to sculpture and fibers. She is a member of two related collaborative groups, Maidens of the Cosmic Body Running (with Denise Burge and Lisa Siders), and Black Forest Project (Denise Burge, Lisa Siders, and Tracy Featherstone), whose work includes video, animation, sound/music, sculpture, and installations. The groups have enjoyed exhibitions of national stature (including the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati in 2011) and international exposure (Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2006 and other festivals in Europe, research/filming in Karlsruhe, Germany in 2009).
As a founding member of the fiber arts collective Bombshells of Cincinnati, Ustick helped drop some of the largest yarn bombs on record: Operation: Bomb Central (six city blocks of greenspace, a city bus, public sculpture, and surrounding architecture), the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, and the great hall of the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Ustick has recently performed on stage with True Theatre (Cincinnati) in their 2013-14 season in True VACATION, and published an essay in The Cincinnati Anthology, (Belt Magazine/Rust Belt Chic Press) in May 2014.
